今日、数学の先生のお宅に数学を習いに行った時、会ったことがない古文の先生が二階にいました。
この先生は数学の講義が終わる直前、数学の先生の教室にきました。
古文の先生は、今朝描いた絵や自画像、奥さんの後ろ姿の絵などを私に見せてくれました。
その後、私のお母さんが迎えに来てくれてた時に、江戸時代の数学の本「塵劫記」を読みたいと交渉してくれました。
そしたら、古文の先生は「いいですよ。」と言いました。
ヤッター！これでやっと読破できるー！と思いました。
Today, when I went to my mathematics teacher's house to learn math, there was a classical Japanese teacher on the second floor who was an acquaintance of the math teacher, whom I had never met before.
This teacher went to see the math teacher just before the end of my math lecture.The classical Japanese teacher showed me pictures he had drawn this morning, a self-portrait, and a picture of his wife from behind.
Afterwards, my mother came to pick me up, so I asked her to read Jinkoki, a mathematics book from the Edo period.
Then he said, "Okay."
Yay! Now I can finally read through it! , I thought.
次の週から数学の先生の講義が終わったた、古文の先生が来て一緒に塵劫記を読んでいきました。
塵劫記は、過去のブログでも書いた通り、吉田光由（よしだ みつよし）による本で、江戸時代の和算家にはこの本は現代で言うと任天堂スイッチのように大人気でした。
漢文と古文が多いので、一人では読めませんでした。
Then, the next week, when my math teacher's class was over, my classical Japanese teacher was coming, so I read Jinkoki.
As I mentioned in other blogs, Jinkoki is a book written by Mitsuyoshi Yoshida, and it was as popular among Wasan scholars during the Edo period as the Nintendo Switch is today.
There were a lot of Chinese and ancient texts, so I couldn't read them by myself.

図書館で借りてきて、先生と読んでいきました。
申候也（もうしそうろうなり）や、此（これ）など、わけの分からない漢字や言葉がでてきました。
ですが、この古文の先生はスラスラと読んでいってしまうので、凄いなぁと感動しました。
I borrowed it from the library and read it with my teacher.
I came across some kanji and words that I didn't understand, such as 申候也(Moushi-sourounari) and 此 (Kore)
However, this classical Japanese teacher reads the book so smoothly that I think it's amazing.
塵劫記の講義が終わったら、荷物を片付けて、御礼を言いました。そしたら、古文の先生はチキンのヌイグルミを指さして、「可愛いね。ガーコちゃんだね。」と言いました。
チキンをアヒルだと思っているみたいです。
だから、私は、「これはニワトリ。チキンですよ。」と言って、握手して、家まで帰りました。
お母さんは、「見た目からして面白そうな人だったね」と言いました。
古文は文字ばかりと思っていましたが、意外と読むのは楽しかったです。

After the Jinkoki lecture, I put away my things and thanked them. Then, the classical Japanese teacher pointed to my stuffed chicken and said, "It's cute. Is it quack quack?" He may thinks that my chicken is a duck.
So I said, "This is a chicken." I shook his hand and went home.
My mother said, "Judging by his looks, he seemed like an interesting person."
I thought ancient Japanese texts were boring, but it was surprisingly fun to read.
